Is it possible to fry an egg or anything on a sidewalk?
Here's the info:
An egg needs a temperature of 158°F to become firm. In order to cook, proteins in the egg modify, then coagulate, and that won’t happen until the temperature rises enough to start and maintain the process.
You are better off using metal on metal...
Let's say a frying pan on the hood of your car...
Try grilling a hamburger or warming up a burrito...
Good luck!

Museum Day - July 16
Is there a museum in the area you haven't explored?
Check it out, take the kids.
A wonderful way to add some education to the summer break.

Gummi Worms Day - July 15
Enjoy some Gummi Worms!
Get creative, make a "dirt" cake or cupcakes.
Easier yet is "dirt" pudding.
For group outdoor kid fun.
Take a clean plastic kids bucket and a some small toy shovels.
Add chocolate pudding, top with some crushed chocolate covered graham crackers
or crushed oreos. (The dirt)
Add some candy rocks and have your Gummi Worms crawling out of the mix.
Send the kids outside with the shovels and they can dig in.
Have them to play in the sprinkler for a rinse.

Embrace Your Geekiness Day - July 13
Ever wonder what a true geek is?
The people you pick on in high school and wind up working for as an adult. Not to be confused with Nerd. A geek does not have to be smart,
a Geek is someone who is generaly not athletic, and enjoys
Video Games; Comic Books; being on the internet, and etc.
That would make me a Geek!
All credit for the definitions are given to the Urban Dictionary.
The term "geek" originally referred to the carnival performers whose act consisted of
biting the heads off chickens and eating glass.
Over time it came to be applied to anyone who got paid to do work considered odd or bizarre by mainstream society.
The term now enjoys a special status within the technical community, particularly among particularly knowledgable computer programmers. To identify oneself as a "geek" indicates a recognition that most people still consider programming computers to be a bizarre act, along with a certain fierce satisfaction in being very good at their inglorious profession.
That most software geeks now easily earn twice as much as the average laborer just sweetens their defiant embrace of the term.
