Lollipop Day - July 20

Large or small?
Pick your flavor.
Lollipops have a vague history.
The modern idea began somewhere in the 1920's.
Back in the middle ages it was boiled sugar on a stick.
The word itself may have come from "lolly" (tongue) and "pop" (slap).
Modern word came for the first commercial maker who named them
after a race horse called Lolly Pop.
You know what to do now! Find one that will last all day.
